Harry Crawford met his wife Gwen shortly after moving to Alaska to work on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline in 1975, and together they have raised four children in East Anchorage. Harry has worked tirelessly to build Alaska, first as an Ironworker and then as a member of the State House for ten years.

As a father and husband, retired Iron Worker, former Alaska State legislator, and a multi-year board member of both Chugach Electric and the Renewable Energy Alaska Project, Harry understands Alaskans' needs –

We must build our economy and develop our resources in order to create quality employment opportunities; we must invest in education to ensure that our best and brightest stay in Alaska; and we must protect the PFD while ensuring that multi-billion dollar corporations pay their fair share for access to our resources.
